I. Pricing & Ordering (The Essentials)

🥇 Top 5 Critical Questions

1. What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for your tapes?

Reinforced Water-Activated Kraft Tape: 10 Rolls.

(Optimized pricing tiers start from 25 rolls and up.)

Washi Tape (Japanese Rice Paper): 1,000 Square Meters (sqm).

(This is our minimum for wholesale printing. Small-batch sampling is available for a fixed fee.)

2. How do I calculate 1,000 Square Meters of Washi Tape into Rolls?

To meet the 1,000 sqm MOQ, the required roll count will depend on your dimensions.

Rolls = 1000 ➗ (Width m x Length m)

Example 1: For a standard 15 mm x 10 m roll, you will need approximately 6,700 rolls.

Example 2: For a wider 30 mm x 10 m roll, you will need approximately 3,350 rolls.

3. Do you charge for Printing Plates (Plate Fees)?

No. We offer FREE Printing Plates for all standard CMYK four-color custom printing across both our Kraft Tape and Washi Tape categories. The only exception may be a one-time mold fee for highly complex specialty processes (e.g., custom die-cut Washi).

4. Why is the unit price for narrow width Kraft Tape higher?

We charge a Precision Slitting & Handling Fee for orders below 40mm wide. This fee is a market standard practice and is necessary to:

  • Cover increased material wastage during production.
  • Ensure specialized machine adjustments for high-precision slitting.
  • Account for the extra quality control and special packaging required to prevent narrow rolls from curling or deforming.
  • (The final fee will be clearly itemized on your quote.)

5. I was quoted extra for my Washi Tape. What are the common surcharges?

Our standard pricing covers basic CMYK printing. Surcharges apply only when you select advanced specialty processes:

  • PET Matte/Frosted Finish: This requires a Specialty Coating Fee. It covers the cost of the premium material application and complex curing process that provides the unique tactile finish.
  • With Release Liner (Backing Paper): This requires an Additional Material & Lamination Fee. It covers the cost of the release liner material itself and the subsequent lamination process needed to apply it.

II. Product Specifications

6. What is the main difference in use between your two tapes?

Reinforced Water-Activated Kraft Tape

Best For: Sealing shipping cartons, high-security packaging.

Key Characteristic: High tensile strength, extreme bond once set, fully recyclable and eco-friendly.

Washi Tape (Decorative)

Best For: Retail branding, product finishing, temporary sealing, stationery.

Key Characteristic: Easy tear, low residue, versatile printing (including foil, PET), decorative appeal.

7. Are your products eco-friendly?

Yes. Our Reinforced Water-Activated Kraft Tape is the most sustainable sealing option on the market. It is made from natural materials and can be recycled directly along with the cardboard box, simplifying the process for your customers.

8. How do I use the Water-Activated Tape?

The tape requires moisture to activate its starch-based adhesive. For high efficiency, we recommend using a Water-Activated Tape Dispenser (often called a "Grizzly").

III. Artwork & Design

9. What is a "Repeat Cycle" and what are the standard lengths?

The Repeat Cycle is the physical distance (length) your design or pattern covers before it begins printing again. Your artwork must be designed to align perfectly with this cycle.

  • Kraft Tape Standard Cycle: 380mm
  • Washi Tape Standard Cycle: 350mm

10. What file format do you require for the best print quality?

We strongly prefer Vector Files to ensure perfect scalability and crisp edges:

  • Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
  • Editable PDF (.PDF)
  • Photoshop (.PSD)

How do you handle color matching (CMYK vs. Pantone)?

We print using standard CMYK (Four-Color Process). If precise brand colors are critical, please provide your Pantone (PMS) Color Codes in the file notes. We will strive for the closest match, but final color may vary slightly due to the substrate (e.g., natural brown Kraft or translucent Washi).

IV. Production & Shipping

What is your production lead time?

Our lead times begin after your final design proof has been approved and payment has been confirmed.

  • Washi & Specialty Tapes: Approx. 7 - 15 business days.
  • Reinforced Kraft Tapes: Approx. 15 - 25 business days.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order has been packed and dispatched, you will receive an email notification containing your final invoice and a tracking number for the shipment. You can also track your order here: https://www.17track.net/en

What is your policy on modifying or canceling an order?

You can modify or cancel your order at any time before you approve the Digital Proof. Once the proof is approved and the order moves into plate preparation and production, the order is locked and cannot be changed or canceled.
